New clients
It starts with being heard.
Every new client begins with a free 20-minute call with Jennifer, a Registered Nurse. No class to drop into. No guesswork.
Not a drop-in studio
This is high-end, private movement. It is medicine.
Before you ever step on a reformer, a nurse has read your history, heard your story, and watched how you move. That is how every client relationship here begins.
The process
Four steps. One body: yours.
A free phone consultation
Jennifer speaks with you directly about what you’re dealing with, what you’ve tried, and whether Body Temple is the right fit. About 20 minutes.
Your history, read by a nurse
Share your medical records, surgical notes, or imaging. Jennifer reads them herself. Not a form that gets filed: an actual clinical read.
A full assessment
Your first session is an assessment, not a workout. No exercises are assigned until she has seen you move.
A program built for you
Specific to your body, your history, and your goals. It would not work for anyone else, and that is the point.
Your first session
An assessment, not a workout.
Jennifer arrives already knowing your history, so your first hour begins with movement, not paperwork. She watches how you move, finds what your body is compensating for, and builds a picture of what it actually needs.
This is the step most studios skip. It is the reason the work here is different.
What to expect
Slow. Specific. Made for you.
You will not be handed a sheet of exercises. You will be watched, assessed, and taught. Most clients say their first sessions are harder than they expected, not because the work is extreme, but because moving with this much attention is new.
Good to know

Questions
What people ask first.
Do I need prior Pilates experience?
No. Most of our clients have never done Pilates before. What matters is your medical history and what you’re trying to address, not your fitness background.
What should I wear?
One solid color, and something close-fitting. Your instructor is reading the line of your body the entire session: how your ribs sit over your pelvis, where one side is working harder than the other. Two colors cut that line in half. Loose fabric hides it. It isn’t a dress code. It’s so nothing gets missed.
What should I bring to my first session?
Comfortable clothes you can move in. If you have imaging reports, surgical notes, or a list of diagnoses, bring those or send them ahead. The more Jennifer knows before she sees you, the more useful your first session is.
How long are sessions, and how often should I come?
Private sessions are 50 minutes. Most clients come twice a week, especially early in a program. Jennifer will give you a recommendation after your assessment.
Do you take insurance?
We do not bill insurance directly. Some clients are able to use HSA or FSA funds. We can provide documentation for reimbursement if your plan covers it.
What if I have a condition you haven’t worked with before?
Tell us about it. Jennifer has worked with a wide range of complex conditions, and she will tell you honestly if Body Temple is the right fit or if you need something different first.
In her words
“You’ve got to be ready to commit. Working with Jen is challenging but she will be with you every step of the way believing you can do it. It’s really an investment in yourself.”
