Private Pilates in Broad Ripple

Movement is the medicine.

And you have a partner in it.

With you and for you

We start listening the moment you walk through the door.

Maybe you have tried the appointments, the programs, and the advice that never quite fit. Maybe your body has started to feel like something you manage instead of something you live in. Here, your story comes first: what hurts, what you miss doing, and what you want your body to do next.

Hands-on guidance

Controlled movement

Full attention, every session

A partnership, not a program

Your body is different every day. Your session should be, too.

Every session is shaped by how you arrive that day. We notice what has changed, meet you there, and explain the why behind each movement, so you leave understanding your body a little better than when you came in.

We listen

Your history, your goals, and how today feels.

We guide

One-on-one, hands-on attention on equipment chosen for your body.

We adapt with you

Your plan changes as you do. Nothing is borrowed from someone else's.

What makes us different

This is high-end movement. It is medicine.

Indianapolis is full of Pilates. Body Temple is something else: private, one-on-one movement led by a Registered Nurse, built for the person in the room and no one else. Every session gets her full, individualized attention.

A Registered Nurse reads your intake

Jennifer reviews your surgical history, imaging, and diagnoses herself, before you step on a reformer. Almost no studio takes this step, because almost no studio can.

Assessed, not assigned

Every client receives a full postural and movement assessment before a single exercise is chosen. Your program is built from what your body is actually doing today.

One-on-one, every session

No group classes. No shared reformers. No rotating instructors you have to re-explain yourself to every time. Private sessions only, without exception.

A rare combination of credentials

RN. Fletcher Pilates Faculty Member. PMA-Certified Teacher. BASI-trained. Arcus Hip and Knee Replacement Certified. Over 20 years. In Indianapolis, that combination exists in one studio.

Meet the founder

“Health is wealth. You can’t buy it back.”

Jen Mapalad, RN

Jen grew up hearing those words. She came to know them through her own body, when movement became the thing that helped her feel strong and steady again.

Her years as an ER nurse taught her something else: care does not end when the urgent moment does. What happens afterward, day after day, is where people rebuild.

Body Temple is where those lessons meet. A nurse’s eye, a mover’s understanding, and a teacher who stays beside you for what comes next.

Shared care

More than one set of trusted hands.

Every teacher at Body Temple works from the approach Jen built: listen first, move with intention, adjust as you go.

Sharon trained under Jen and brings that same attention to every session. Whether you see Jen or Sharon, you will be known here.

The studio

A calm, private space to come back to yourself.

Natural light, warm wood, and fully equipped private rooms in the heart of Broad Ripple. No crowded classes and no waiting for a machine. Just you, your teacher, and time to do this well.

Jennifer owns the building, works in it every day, and personally oversees every program that runs in it. You will find us at 6566 Carrollton Avenue.

Client experiences

In their own words.

“

I first started with Jen shortly after a partial knee replacement. It was important to me to strengthen my knee for future mobility. I can now walk, hike, and swim as much as I like. I drive 40 minutes each way twice a week for my sessions with Jen and it is well worth it.

“

I had just gone through two lower back surgeries due to degenerative disc disease. Jen gave me confidence to get back into Pilates, and I have never been in this good of shape at 61 years old. She works around my sore knees, the arthritis in my hands, and whatever else is going on that day. There is always something going on.

You don’t have to figure this out alone.
